About this event
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… a surprisingly strange collection of birds! Join artist and biological illustrator Xavier Moss for a feathered exploration of one of the holiday season’s most familiar songs. From partridges and turtle doves to calling birds, geese, and swans, discover the fascinating natural history behind the feathered gifts of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
Along the way, we’ll explore the curious biology, behaviors, and folklore of these festive birds before creating our own colorful, nature-inspired illustrations that put a wild twist on a holiday classic. No birding experience required—just a little curiosity and a love for making art! Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
